Mandya: A tragic incident unfolded near Nanda Circle in Mandya city, Karnataka when a routine helmet check reportedly coincided with a fatal accident involving a child. The incident occurred when traffic police were conducting a standard check for helmet compliance in the area.

A family—father, mother, and their young child—was reportedly traveling on a two-wheeler when they were stopped by the police as part of the helmet inspection. During the process, the bike allegedly lost balance, leading to the child falling off the vehicle. Unfortunately, the child suffered a severe head injury upon hitting the road and succumbed to heavy bleeding on the spot.
The grieving mother, holding the lifeless body of her child, broke down on the road, creating a heart-wrenching scene that drew emotional responses from bystanders.
