Karnataka: B.Y Vijayendra accuses Congress Government of holding back Rs 716 crore for assistance of milk producers

The war of words between Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar and the BJP Karnataka State President BY Vijayendra has intensified. Viajyendra was angered by DK Shivakumar’s statement that he had won a lottery. “Our party workers will show whether it is a lottery or a bumper lottery during the Lok Sabha elections. The people of Karnataka will decide to whom the election lottery will swing towards. Not just the people, even animals are fed up with the Congress Government’s attitude” he said. 

Vijayendra threw light on the assistance provided by Former Chief Minister Yediyurappa to milk producers. He stated that 80-85 lakh litres of milk was produced as a result of this. He accused the government of holding back Rs 716 crore in this regard. This has supposedly resulted in the reduction of output by 10 lakh litres. He alleged that the state government does not utilise funds provided by the central government. He urged the government to release the amount immediately as they are being watched by the people of the state. 

Vijayendra also raised objection to the manner in which Congress leaders refer to the opposition parties.He noted that their tone is very aggressive.
