Following the call for an Akhand Karnataka Bandh by pro-Kannada activist Vatal Nagaraj, protests have erupted across multiple districts, including Davangere, Mysore, and Chikkaballapur. Activists have taken to the streets, demanding action on 22 key issues, including the deportation of Belgaum MES supporters, the banning of MES, and the implementation of projects like Mahadayi, Kalasabanduri, and Mekedatu.

In Davangere, protesters expressed their anger by setting tires on fire near Sangolli Rayanna Circle, while in Chikkaballapur, activists conducted a torchlight procession. Meanwhile, Kannada Sena protesters in Mandya gathered at Sanjay Circle, symbolizing their demands by carrying green and dry grass on their heads.
In Bengaluru, a massive protest march has been planned from Town Hall to Freedom Park at 11:30 AM. Leaders of pro-Kannada organizations are set to lead thousands of demonstrators, with a large protest stage prepared at Freedom Park. While the police have granted permission for the Town Hall procession, they have issued notices to protest leaders, warning of legal action if they attempt to march.
Authorities anticipate severe traffic disruptions in central Bengaluru, particularly around areas such as GC Road, Town Hall, Corporation, and Majestic. Commuters have been advised to plan their routes accordingly as the situation develops.
