The project is expected to be completed in two years and promises to be a world-class facility. During the inauguration, CM Siddaramaiah emphasized the importance of the initiative for the region. “Tumakuru, located just 90 kilometers from Bengaluru and roughly an hour and 15 minutes away by road, is home to many cricket enthusiasts. This stadium will nurture talent and create job opportunities through its construction and operations,” he said.

The CM also revealed that 51 acres had been allotted for the project to ensure sufficient space for future developments. Local fans and players alike have welcomed the development, viewing it as a stepping stone for better cricketing opportunities and economic advancement in the district.
