The Congress government in Karnataka celebrated its two-year anniversary with a massive public event, the Sadhana Samavesha, held in Hosapete on Tuesday. Over two lakh people attended the gathering, which showcased the government’s achievements and outlined future goals.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar addressed the crowd. CM Siddaramaiah highlighted the successful implementation of five major guarantee schemes aimed at social justice and welfare.

Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi formally launched the issuance of digital home ownership deeds to 1,11,111 families under the Revenue Department, marking a major step toward transparency and housing security. He also announced the creation of 2,600 new revenue villages across Karnataka.

Mallikarjun Kharge reiterated the party's commitment to protecting democratic institutions and promoting equal opportunities, especially for marginalized communities. He urged unity and compassion in governance.

Deputy CM Shivakumar emphasized the Congress government's focus on fulfilling its promises, including support for farmers and women. He accused the opposition of opposing welfare schemes that benefit the people.

The event served as a platform for Congress leaders to celebrate their tenure, reaffirm their social welfare agenda, and reinforce their vision for inclusive development in Karnataka.
