Karnataka dominate over Netherlands in warm-up match

The Karnataka team led by Mayank Aggarwal took on Netherlands as part of the team’s preparation for the World Cup on 25th September. Karnataka put up 264 on the board in 46 overs with Kyle Klein and Vikramjit Singh picking 3 wickets each. Netherlands lost heavily by 122 runs after being bowled out for 142.  

The Netherlands team has been training in Bengaluru extensively ever since September 6th. Earlier in the day the coach for Netherlands, Ryan Ten  Doeschate thanked the 4 net bowlers who helped the team with the preparations. 

“Few weeks ago, we had no idea we could get such quality of bowling, we had no idea we could have such great human beings to be around the team, so thank you guys, we could take some learnings on facing left arm spin, facing wrist spin and you guys have been brilliant in our lead up to the world cup especially for our batters. It’s great to have you around. Smiling faces all the time and it has been brilliant all the contributions you have made for us(sic),” he said.

 Two other matches would be held between the two teams before the World Cup.
