Karnataka: Farmer hangs pictures of celebrities in his fields! Know why?

It’s a common practice to place scarecrows at fields. These scarecrows are placed in order to shoo away birds. They are also placed to ward off evil eyes. Many of us would have come across such scarecrows many times. 

However, in a strange occurrence, a farmer in Karnataka’s Shivamogga has placed photos of top celebrities in his fields. 

The farmer - Rangaswamy - owns two acres of land. He has intentionally placed these photos. 

But what is the rationale behind it? 

Well, as people pass by, they have a look at these photos, feel happy and continue with their journey. 

Sometimes, at night, he says people have a look at these photos and smile. 

This is also an endeavour to ensure that thievery doesn’t take place in his fields.
