The South Indian pilgrimage package includes visits to revered destinations like Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Madurai, and Thiruvananthapuram. While the total cost for this package is Rs 25,000, the government will provide a subsidy of Rs 15,000. Pilgrims will only need to pay Rs 10,000 for the trip.

The second package, which covers pilgrimages to Puri, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Somnath, and other significant sites, comes at a total cost of Rs 32,500. For this package, the government will contribute Rs 17,500, with pilgrims required to pay just Rs 15,000.

The department responsible for the arrangements will oversee the tours, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for the pilgrims. This initiative is expected to make these spiritual journeys more accessible, allowing more people to visit sacred sites at a reduced cost.
