The Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) has announced plans to construct premium 3BHK flats and duplex homes in Bengaluru’s fast-growing suburbs, including Suryanagar, Kengeri, and Yelahanka. The initiative, spearheaded by KHB Chairman and Arsikere MLA KM Shivalinge Gowda, aims to meet the city’s rising demand for quality housing.

The project will begin with a pilot phase of 100 duplex homes. Prices are fixed at Rs 99 lakh for 35x40 ft plots, Rs 1.4 crore for 35x50 ft plots, and Rs 1.8 crore for 60x40 ft plots. These rates will remain unchanged regardless of future market fluctuations, ensuring price stability for buyers.
Homes will be allotted via a lottery system following full payment. Refunds will be issued to those not selected, maintaining a transparent and fair process.
Additionally, Suryanagar will see the development of a multi-sport stadium, enhancing recreational infrastructure. KHB also plans to revise eligibility rules for its Discretionary Quota allotments.
