Interestingly, the name Pallakki was suggested by none other than Ramalinga Reddy himself, who is the incumbent transport minister.
Out of the 40 buses, 30 will be used for intrastate purposes while 10 will be used for interstate purposes.
On the occasion, V Anbukumar, MD, KSRTC, said, “We had a demand for non-AC buses. We had not launched any non-AC buses since 2018. Now that we have these buses, we hope they will be of great use for people.”
He also added that more facilities have been given on these buses.
“We have increased the heights of these buses. We have also brought in display boards and ensured there is good ventilation.”
With these buses, the KSRTC hopes to serve its customers better.
