In a proud moment for Kolar district and the state of Karnataka, A. Madu, a determined youth from Iragsandra village, has secured an impressive All India Rank of 544 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024.

Madu, son of Anand, has emerged as a shining example of perseverance and hard work. His achievement stands tall amidst a sea of over 10 lakh aspirants who registered for the highly competitive exam this year, which recorded a success rate of less than 1%.

Known as the toughest examination in India, the UPSC CSE tests candidates through three rigorous stages — the Preliminary exam, Mains, and the Personality Test. It requires not just knowledge, but exceptional analytical ability, strong writing skills, and unshakable mental resilience.
