Rishab Shetty, renowned for his performance in Kantara has kept one of his promises and earned the praise of the citizens. Although busy with the shooting of Kantara A Legend Chapter:1, he has aided in the retention of a Kannada-medium school and given a positive direction to a campaign.

Divine Star Rishab Shetty has adopted a school in the town in which he was born. It was in the Keradi High School that Rishab Shetty studied in during his childhood.

While directing the Ananth Nag-starrer Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shaale Kasargod, he had made a promise to adopt the Keradi High School. On December 17th he had a talk with the officials of the school and finalised the procedure for adoption.

The film set in the Kasargod district of Kerala depicted the repercussions of education in a child’s mother tongue not being provided to the child on account of the state’s policy. The decline in enrolment rate upon such measures and the lack of connection to education was demonstrated.
