The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today released the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, bringing cheer across Karnataka as 29 candidates from the state successfully made it to the prestigious list. Among them, two aspirants have secured ranks within the top 50, marking a significant achievement for the state.

Ranga Manju secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 24, becoming the highest-ranked candidate from Karnataka. A student of Insight IAS, Manju’s success is being celebrated widely for bringing glory to the state. Joining him in the top 50 is Basavaraj Guttur, who secured AIR 41, further highlighting Karnataka's growing presence in the national civil services landscape.
The topper of UPSC 2024 is Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj, who secured AIR 1 out of 1009 candidates recommended for various civil services.
Karnataka-based coaching centers also had reason to celebrate. India for IAS Academy registered an impressive 20 selections, while Akka IAS Academy saw 8 of its students succeed in this year's exam.
Other notable achievers from Karnataka include BM Meghana (425), Dr. Bhanuprakash (523), Bharat C Yaram (567), Nikhil MR (724), T. Vijay Kumar (894), Hanumanthappa Nandi (910), and Mohan Patil (984).
The UPSC CSE remains one of the most rigorous exams in the country, with a success rate of less than 1%. The selection process spans three demanding stages: Prelims, Mains, and the Personality Test.
With such remarkable results, Karnataka continues to nurture future leaders and administrators. The achievements of these candidates serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for thousands of aspiring civil servants across the state.
