This conference, regarded as one of the most important platforms for legislative dialogue in India, is returning to Karnataka after a gap of 23 years. The last edition hosted by the state took place in 2002, while the most recent national session was conducted in Bihar.

Khader highlighted the importance of the event in fostering cooperative federalism and strengthening parliamentary democracy. He also noted that it is a matter of pride for Karnataka to welcome legislative leaders from every corner of the country.
