Karnataka: Toll charges along Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway to increase starting from April 1st

    Currently the cost for travel along one direction is Rs 320

    Currently the cost for a 2-way trip is Rs 485

    charge along the Chitradurga-Tumkur highway will also be increased.

Vehicle owners who would pay toll charges to travel on several National Highways including the Bengluru-Mysuru expressway were in for a shock. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has increased toll charges. The revised charges will be applicable starting from April 1st. 

There will be an increase of Rs 10 in the toll charge along the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway. Currently the cost for travel along one direction is Rs 320. April 1st onwards, this will be increased to Rs 330. The cost for a 2-way trip is Rs 485. April 1st onwards, this would be increased to Rs 495. 

Similarly the charge along the Chitradurga-Tumkur highway will also be increased. The Karajeevanahalli toll gate located near Kallambella in Shira and the Guyilalu toll gate located near Chitradurga will also face the impact of the increase in toll charges. Starting from April 1st, the toll charges will increase by Rs 10 in these toll gates. 

The toll prices have been consistently increasing every year. There is an annual revision of prices.
