Situated within a 28 million sq. ft. mixed-use Business Park, District I is designed to function as a vibrant innovation ecosystem. It will bring together Global Capability Centers (GCCs), IT firms, startups, venture capitalists, academic institutions, accelerators, corporate R&D labs, and government entities. The initiative seeks to bridge academic research and commercial application, enabling seamless collaboration across sectors.
The hub is set to focus on transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, and customer experience solutions. These advancements are expected to impact a wide range of sectors including aerospace, defence, smart cities, retail, telecom, BFSI, manufacturing, and space technology — areas where Bengaluru already holds a competitive edge.
District I also forms a core component of Bengaluru Airport City’s vision of a future-ready urban district. Beyond its tech-forward agenda, the area will include dedicated zones for education and healthcare, along with hospitality, entertainment, and lifestyle amenities. This integrated approach aims to support a dynamic work-live-play environment, positioning Bengaluru as a global leader in innovation and enterprise.
