The reinstatement of these routes, which were earlier suspended, is aimed at improving access for business, tourism, and trade. With better air connectivity, industries in and around Belagavi are likely to benefit from faster movement of people and goods, promoting investment and growth in the region.
This development reflects the airline’s growing presence in South India and its commitment to expanding flight and infrastructure capabilities.
New Vande Bharat Express train
Adding to this momentum, a new Vande Bharat Express train will be launched between Bengaluru and Belagavi on August 10, with regular operations commencing a day later. Running six days a week, this high-speed train is expected to significantly cut travel time and enhance rail transport convenience.
Together, these developments mark a transformative phase for Karnataka’s transportation landscape, offering Belagavi improved access, enhanced mobility, and stronger regional integration.
