Inside the packed courtroom, the judge read the detailed list of charges against each accused, explaining the allegations related to kidnapping, assault, and the murder of Renukaswamy. After completing the charge reading, the judge asked the accused to state their response.

All 17 accused, including Darshan, jointly declared that the allegations made against them were false. The judge recorded their statements before announcing that the trial proceedings would begin on November 10, when the examination of witnesses and evidence is expected to commence.

The courtroom was under tight security throughout the hearing due to the high public interest surrounding the case. With the charge-framing process now complete, the next phase will determine how the case unfolds in court.
