Addressing concerns about potential misuse, Lad stated that complaints will be reviewed and appropriate action taken. He highlighted that women juggle both household and professional responsibilities, and even a day’s leave can improve efficiency and wellbeing. A bill or ordinance is expected to formalise the policy in the coming days.
