The report, compiled by an 11-member committee led by Transport Department Secretary NV Prasad, includes members from the Directorate of Land Transport, Labour Department, BMTC, and Bengaluru Traffic Police. The panel was tasked with studying the feasibility, benefits, and challenges of permitting bike taxi services in the state.
