Land parcels within a 100-kilometre radius of Bengaluru are under consideration, with Tumakuru, Ramanagara, and Chikkaballapur emerging as key contenders. Industry-Government Collaboration

The initiative is being shaped through consultations between major EV players and the state’s IT-BT department. An industry consortium will submit recommendations to ensure the EV city supports every stage of the vehicle lifecycle—from design and testing to certification and production.
