School Education and Literacy Department issues fresh order on exam timing while keeping classroom schedule unchanged for SSLC students.
SSLC students have been advised to take note of a change in the timing of the preparatory examinations. The School Education and Literacy Department has clarified that the preparatory exam will begin at 10:30 am and not at 11 am, as was earlier discussed.
Initially, the department had decided to conduct the exam at 11 am to prevent question paper leaks. This decision was part of the orders issued for the second and third preparatory examinations. However, the department has now revised its instructions and confirmed that the examination will be held at 10:30 am instead.
As per the latest directive, students must report to their classrooms by 9:00 am on the day of the examination. Authorities have stated that this early reporting is mandatory to ensure smooth conduct of the exam and proper administrative arrangements.

It has also been clearly stated that there is no change in regular class timings. Schools will continue to follow the existing classroom schedule, and only the exam start time has been adjusted.
The department has further announced that the second preparatory examination for SSLC students will be conducted from January 27 to February 2. Schools have been instructed to strictly follow the revised timing and ensure that students are informed well in advance.
Officials have urged students and parents to avoid confusion by noting the updated exam schedule and reporting time.
