Motorists travelling on National Highway 75 will face revised toll charges at two plazas from September 1. The updated rates will come into effect at the Doddkarenahalli toll plaza in Bengaluru Rural district and the Karebailu toll plaza in Tumakuru district, covering 40.13 kilometres each.
Revised toll charges
According to the new structure, cars, jeeps and passenger vans will be charged ₹60 for a single journey. For those making multiple trips in a day, the fee will be ₹85, while a monthly pass will cost ₹1,745. Light commercial vehicles such as goods carriers will see their toll fixed at ₹100 for a single journey, ₹155 for multiple daily trips, and ₹3,055 for a monthly pass.
For buses and trucks, the revised charges are ₹205 for a one-way journey, ₹305 for multiple trips within the same day, and ₹6,015 for a monthly subscription. Multi-axle and other heavy vehicles will pay the highest rates at ₹325 for a single trip, ₹490 for multiple trips in a day, and ₹9,815 for a monthly pass.
The fee revision applies simultaneously at both plazas, increasing the cost of travel for daily commuters and commercial transport operators on the busy Bengaluru–Mangaluru corridor. Officials have stated that the updated tariff is part of routine annual adjustments under highway user fee regulations, ensuring continued road maintenance and infrastructure support.
