The much-awaited film Kanguva, starring Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani, has hit theaters, thrilling audiences with an unexpected highlight: a “double dhamaka” cameo by Suriya's brother, Karthi. Known for his dynamic performances, Karthi’s dual appearances in the movie’s climax have created a buzz online, leaving fans eager for the confirmed sequel, Kanguva 2.

Social media exploded as fans shared images and videos of Karthi’s cameo, showcasing his contrasting roles as both a modern-day and ancient warrior. One fan shared an image of Suriya and Karthi in dual roles, captioning it, “Kanguva on fire... Karthi sir’s mind-blowing cameo, can’t wait for part 2!” Another fan raved about Karthi’s fierce transformation, complete with a forehead tattoo, gold grill, and spiked hair.
The movie’s thrilling crocodile fight scene and Karthi’s intense introduction have also garnered widespread applause. Viewers described the cameo as a “highlight” and commended Karthi’s portrayal of a “ruthlessly aggressive villain.”
While reactions to Kanguva remain mixed, with some calling it an “above-average film” and others feeling it serves mainly as a setup for Kanguva 2, there is little doubt about the excitement for the sequel. Karthi himself wished the team success ahead of the release, praising their dedication in crafting “this mammoth film.”
