Travelers passing through Bengaluru airport have consistently praised the smooth arrival experience, citing quick immigration and customs procedures, efficient baggage handling, high-speed WiFi, and a well-organized system that reduces wait times. In addition to operational excellence, Bengaluru’s Terminal-2 (T2) gained global acclaim for its architectural design.

In 2023, it received the Prix Versailles, a prestigious award that recognizes exceptional global architecture for its “Special prize for an interior”.

Opened for domestic operations in January 2023, T2 caters to select domestic airlines and all international flights. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in November 2022 and reflects the city’s identity as the “Garden City of India”, with lush vertical gardens, bamboo clad-roofs and ample greenery. The terminals’ innovative design enhances the airport’s reputation as one of the most beautiful in the world, elevating its status as a leading global travel hub.
