The Central Crime Branch’s (CCB) arrest and investigations of the alleged fraud of businessman Govinda Babu Pujari has been moving at a steadfast pace.  They have seized a plot from the Uppur Sriram Credit Co-operative Society belonging to Chaitra Kundapura. The seizure is also being recorded on camera. These would form a part of the evidence for the case which is being presented against her. 

They have also recovered Rs 1.8 crore from her fixed deposit account. Rs 40 lakh has been found as cash from her place of residence. 320m grams of gold amounting to Rs 65 lakh have also been recovered from the place of residence. The joint account held by Chaitra Kundapura and her husband Shrikanth Nayak has been frozen by the CCB. A Kia SUV was also found with Kiran Ganappagolla. Kiran Ganappagola was running a driving school and had procured the car from Solapur and had it transported to Mudhol in Bagalkot. His role in the alleged fraud is being examined. He has apparently been interrogated by police officers in the Bagalkot Thane.
