Auto driver who slapped the woman passenger has been arrested
An incident in which an enraged auto driver slapped a woman passenger disdainfully has gone viral. The incident took place in bengaluru as the woman cancelled an ola ride due to “a change of plan”. As she posted the slapping visuals, a barrage of netizens have called for a punitive action against the vexatious auto driver.

As the argy-bargies continue, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon has put out a post in which she quotes what Sheikh Mohammad, PM of UAE has shared on the safety of women. He says “If a woman wanders alone at any hour of the day or night without fear, you know that she is in the Emirates.”
Refering to him Shaw said “What a great message for a safe country – can we aim for this in Namma Bengaluru pls?”
