As Rahul sealed the match with a commanding six, he theatrically drew a circle on the pitch with his bat, followed by a powerful swing and a heartfelt chest tap. He was heard saying, “You are in my heart. This is my ground, this is my home.” The display sent fans into a frenzy and instantly went viral online.

The celebration has sparked speculation among fans, with many interpreting it as a veiled taunt towards RCB icon Virat Kohli. The match had already been dubbed by supporters as a battle between the "native son" (Kohli) and "adopted son" (Rahul), amplifying the drama.

Others believe Rahul’s gesture was aimed at the RCB franchise itself, following reports that the team overlooked him during player auctions, despite his Bengaluru roots.

In the post-match presentation, Rahul reflected on his strategy: “The pitch was tricky, but keeping wickets for 20 overs gave me an edge. I knew how the ball would behave. This is my home ground. I know it better than anyone else—and I love playing here.”

RCB, meanwhile, faced another crushing defeat at home.
