A proposed "Constitution" for an “Akhand Hindu Rashtra” has been finalized and is set to be unveiled at the Mahakumbh on February 2, coinciding with the occasion of Basant Panchami. The 501-page document, developed by the Hindu Rashtra Samvidhan Nirmal Samiti, draws its inspiration from ancient texts like the Ramayana, Manusmriti, Krishna's teachings, and Chanakya's Arthashastra. The committee, composed of 25 scholars from institutions like Banaras Hindu University and Central Sanskrit University, has prepared the document with the goal of establishing India as a Hindu nation by 2035.

The Constitution envisions a society based on human values and proposes stricter penalties for those involved in anti-national activities. It also advocates military education for all citizens and harsher punishment for crimes like theft. The tax system will undergo changes, with agriculture being tax-free.
In terms of governance, the Constitution proposes a unicameral legislature, the Hindu Dharma Parliament, whose members will be called Dharmik Sansads. The minimum voting age has been set at 16, and only followers of Sanatan Dharma will be allowed to contest elections. The chief of the country, the Rashtradhyaksh, would be elected by three-fourths of the legislature.
While the proposal may seem controversial, some view it as a way to ignite public discourse on the idea of a Hindu nation.
