Concerns were raised after Kohli took a blow to his finger during RCB's match against Gujarat Titans on April 2. The incident occurred during the fielding session, prompting the team’s medical staff to rush in and examine him. The sight of Kohli receiving on-field treatment sparked speculation over a possible injury and his availability for RCB’s next fixture.

Quashing all such rumours, Andy Flower clarified, “Virat Kohli has no injury. He is completely fit.” The confirmation comes as a relief for RCB fans ahead of their crucial match in the IPL 2025 campaign.

RCB, currently placed third in the points table, will take on Mumbai Indians at 7:30 PM IST, with the match broadcast live on Star Sports. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have had a shaky start to the season, winning just one out of their three games so far. They are currently positioned fifth in the standings.

Before facing RCB, Mumbai Indians are scheduled to play against Lucknow Super Giants on April 5. That result could impact their momentum heading into the high-stakes contest with Bengaluru.
