Actress Krithi Shetty, known for her breakout role in Upenna, has expressed her strong desire to make her debut in Kannada cinema. Speaking during the promotion of her latest Malayalam film Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM) with NewsFirst Prime, Shetty revealed her admiration for Kannada actor Rakshith Shetty and expressed her hope to star alongside him.

“Being a Mangalorean, I would love to act in Kannada cinema,” Shetty shared in. She added, “Rakshith Shetty is my favorite actor, and I want to debut in the Kannada film industry with him.”

ARM, a Malayalam romantic fantasy adventure, revolves around three generations of heroes protecting a priceless treasure in northern Kerala, with the story set across the years 1900, 1950, and 1990. Krithi Shetty plays a key role in this ambitious film alongside Tovino Thomas.

Tovino Thomas, who plays three characters in the film, spoke about the challenges of differentiating his roles. “The trust they had in me, which I honestly didn’t have in myself, pushed me to take on the challenge. I even went to an acting workshop to ensure I could portray three distinct characters,” said Thomas.

With ARM gearing up for release, Krithi Shetty’s aspirations to break into Kannada cinema have sparked excitement among fans.
