To ensure public safety and a smooth flow of traffic, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued a detailed advisory outlining alternate routes and temporary restrictions in the affected areas.
Motorists traveling from Brigade Road via Vellara Junction towards Hosur Road must detour through Old PS Left, Wood Street, Tate Lane, Richmond Road, Richmond Circle, Shantinagar Junction, Nanjappa Circle, and Longford Road, eventually rejoining Hosur Road at CMP Junction.
Those approaching from Audugodi Junction on Hosur Road are advised to turn left at Anepalya Junction, continuing via Cemetery Cross Road, Berlie Street, Langford Road, and Nanjappa Circle, with options to proceed to Richmond Road or Shantinagar Junction.
Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) are to avoid Hosur Road during these hours and instead use Audugodi Junction, Mico Junction, 8th Main, Wilson Garden Main Road, and Siddaiah Road.
The traffic police have urged public cooperation, emphasizing that the diversions are temporary and essential for the peaceful conduct of the religious procession. Commuters are encouraged to plan their routes in advance or rely on real-time navigation tools to avoid inconvenience.
