Lenskart’s co-founder Peyush Bansal has expressed interest in establishing a new “mega factory” in Bengaluru, India, and has begun the search for suitable land near the Kempegowda International Airport.

Bansal announced the company’s intentions in a recent LinkedIn post, stating, “Lenskart is looking for 25 acres of land within 60 kms of Kempegowda Bengaluru International Airport to build its next Mega Factory. If any company is looking to sell factory land near the Bengaluru airport, please send an email to us.”

Following Bansal’s announcement, Karnataka Industries Minister MB Patil extended a warm welcome to the proposal. Patil assured that officials from his department would promptly reach out to Lenskart to facilitate the process.
