Addressing Siddaramaiah directly, Pai wrote, “Sir, you take pride in IT being 28% of GSDP? But tell us what have you done for its growth over the last 18 months of your govt?” He pointed out the growing discontent among citizens due to poor road conditions, blocked drains, and increased corruption. “Our lives have become more miserable, roads are worse, drains blocked, people unhappy, corruption increased!” he said, adding that many businesses are now considering expanding outside Karnataka.

Pai also raised concerns over the lack of investment in Bengaluru, a city that contributes significantly to the state’s revenue. “Where is the investment in Bengaluru which gives majority of taxes to fund your guarantees?” he questioned, stressing that this neglect could hinder job creation for the state’s youth. He further called out the current government’s failure to build on the growth-oriented policies of the past, asking, “How will more jobs be created for our youth?”

The post has sparked a wider debate about the city’s infrastructure crisis, putting the government under increased scrutiny.
