The nomination process of the BJP candidate Dr. C.N Manujanth will take place on April 4th. Many leaders including Former Prime Minister H.D Devegowda, Karnataka State BJP President B.Y Vijayendra, Former Chief Minister H.D Kumaraswamy, Leader of Opposition R. Ashok are some of the prominent names who will take part in his nomination rally.

Such repetition of names was also seen in the Legislative Assembly Elections that took place in 2023 and could be stated as the reason why INC candidate from Bengaluru South Sowmya Reddy lost out on becoming an MLA by a very small margin.
