Lok Sabha Election 2024: Pratap Simha and Yaduveer share stage for first time since ticket distribution

Candidate for the 2024 Lok Sabha Election representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Mysuru constituency Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar shared the stage with the Member of Parliament (MP) from Mysuru Pratap Simha. This is the first time the two of them were seen together ever since a public spat over being the serving candidate for the Lok Sabha Election. This was also the first public appearance of Pratap Simha for political purposes after having been denied the ticket. Pratap also met other BJP leaders. He even touched the feet of the former Member of Legislative Assembly S.A Ramadas. Ramadas had earlier remarked that sacrifice for the party is an important trait. 

This was during an interaction with the media ahead of the election. The event was conducted in a private hotel in Mysuru. This interaction was a cause for intrigue among political circles. 

Pratap Simha was a frontrunner among candidates for the Lok Sabha election. Not being considered led to anger. He spoke sarcastically about Yaduveer’s candidature. There was however a change in his attitude after Yaduveer was officially declared as the candidate. Prathap has stated that he would be campaigning for Yaduveer.
