Set in Kerala, ‘Love, Sitara’ has received a variety of responses on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). A user described the film as a “one-time watch,” noting, “#LoveSitara starring Sobhita Dhulipala is likeable, not lovable... Frankly, the role needed a younger woman with some degree of naivety.”

Another viewer highlighted Dhulipala’s performance as the film’s strength, writing, “Love Sitara rests mostly on Sitara’s shoulders, and Sobhita Dhulipala's stunning screen presence shines through.” Rajeev Siddhartha, who plays Arjun, was also praised for complementing her character’s complexities.

Meanwhile, a cinephile lauded the movie for its portrayal of modern relationships, giving it four stars and calling it an “uber cool tale of love dipped with the right ‘tadka’ of tradition.”

However, not all reactions were positive. One post criticized the film’s pacing and content, claiming, “All the best scenes were compiled in the trailer... The rest is unwatchable.”

‘Love, Sitara’ continues to divide audiences as it streams on Zee5.
