Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge addressed the media as INDI Alliance gained some good numbers in the LS elections 2024.
He said, “It is Modi’s moral loss in these elections. It is the victory of the common man, these results are the results of the common man. It is certain that the mandate is against Modi. We humbly accept the verdict.”
He also complimented Rahul Gandhi for holding two rallies, Bharat Jodo Yatra and Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in which he met lakhs of people and understood their problems.
Rahul Gandhi also said the fight is not against BJP, but against the threat and capture of different agencies and even judiciary. The fight is to save the Constitution of India
On the other hand, Karnataka DyCM DK Shivakumar congratulated Dr CN Manjunath who defeated his younger brother DK Suresh at Bengaluru Rural. He also said that the loss of BJP is an upvote on the issues that concern the common man and not necessarily emotional issues.
At the time of filing this report, NDA was hovering at 300 while INDI Aliance at 231.
