LTIMindtree has resumed campus recruitment, planning to onboard up to 5,000 fresh graduates in the current financial year. This move signals the company's renewed focus on talent acquisition despite ongoing global economic headwinds and sluggish demand in the IT services sector.

During the June quarter, the company hired 1,600 freshers and intends to continue recruitment throughout the year. The initiative is part of LTIMindtree’s broader strategy centred around AI-led transformation, continuous skilling, and high employee engagement. Structured onboarding, hands-on project involvement, and focused upskilling are key components of the firm’s fresher integration program.
While several industry peers are enforcing tighter utilisation and reassessing staffing levels, LTIMindtree is maintaining a robust utilisation rate of 88.1%. The company has indicated a willingness to slightly reduce this rate to support future growth with a stronger bench of trained professionals.
Salary hikes and promotions are expected to be addressed in the upcoming appraisal cycle, with decisions likely by September. The last round of increments was implemented in October.
Amid concerns over the quality of new graduates, LTIMindtree remains committed to developing talent through investments in AI-based tools and training. Its proprietary AI platform, Blueverse, has already delivered margin gains and contributed to large client deals. The company anticipates further productivity gains and expects to near double-digit year-on-year growth in the latter half of the fiscal.
