Bizarre Idiosyncrasies of Sadhus

One of the standout personalities was a biker seer who rode into the Maha Kumbh tent city on a Harley Davidson, while another seer, known as ‘Splendor Baba,’ made a 14-day journey from Gujarat on a three-wheeler motorcycle. Meanwhile, ‘Chabhi Wale Baba,’ who carries a 20 kg key everywhere, and ‘Chhotu Baba,’ a three-foot-tall ascetic, became the center of attention. Despite his 32-year vow of not taking a bath, Chhotu Baba expressed his happiness at participating in the Milan Mela, even though he would not take a dip in the Ganga.

Unique Figures and Foreign Pilgrims

Among other notable figures was ‘Chai Wale Baba,’ a former tea seller-turned-monk, who has spent four decades offering free civil services coaching to students while surviving on ten cups of tea a day. Another seer, known as Environment Baba, made a strong statement with a message of planting trees.

Foreign visitors were also drawn to the event, including Michael, a former US Army soldier, and Brazilian yoga practitioner Shiku, both in search of 'moksha.'
