In a move that will significantly ease the commute for Bengaluru’s metro users, a new entry gate, Entrance D, has been opened at the Majestic metro station. The entry, which became operational yesterday, is strategically located to provide direct access to commuters heading towards the KSRTC Terminal 2 area.

Previously, passengers had to walk around and take a longer route to access the KSRTC bus terminals from the metro station. The new gate eliminates that inconvenience, offering a seamless and faster transition between the metro and bus services. This change is expected to not only benefit those traveling toward the bus terminal but also reduce crowding at the main entrances of the metro station during peak hours.
The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) hopes that this will improve overall passenger flow and reduce travel time, particularly for those connecting from long-distance buses to the metro system.
