In a somber scene, Malaika Arora and her family gathered on Thursday to bid farewell to her late father, Anil Mehta, whose last rites were held in Mumbai.
A day after his passing, Malaika, alongside her grieving mother Joyce Polycarp and son Arhaan Khan, were seen leaving their home for the ceremony. Malaika remained close to her family, offering comfort during this emotional time.

Joyce Polycarp, visibly heartbroken, was supported by her grandson Arhaan, who walked by her side. As they approached their car, Malaika assisted her mother while surrounded by a crowd of media personnel. Close family members, including Arbaaz Khan and his wife Sshura Khan, were also present.

In an Instagram post, Malaika expressed her family’s grief, describing her father as a “gentle soul” and asking for privacy during their time of mourning.
According to Mumbai Police, Anil Mehta’s death, at the age of 62, is being treated as an apparent suicide, with an investigation currently underway.
