A shocking case has emerged from Mangaluru, where Abhishek Singh, a man from Uttar Pradesh, allegedly died by suicide after accusing a female CISF assistant commandant of betrayal and exploitation. Singh, who worked for a private company in Chennai, was found hanging in a lodge near Rao & Rao Circle on Sunday.

Before taking the drastic step, Singh uploaded a video on Instagram, alleging that the officer had deceived him with false promises of marriage while using him physically and financially. He claimed she took financial assistance from him for her brother’s wedding but secretly married another man.
Singh, a native of Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, had been in a relationship with the officer, who hails from Haryana and is currently posted in Ahmedabad, for over one and a half years. Allegedly distressed after learning about her marriage a week ago, he had traveled to Mangaluru with colleagues for an exhibition but took his own life.
In his final video, Singh urged authorities to punish the officer. The Pandeshwar police have registered a case and are collecting digital evidence as part of their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death and the officer’s role.
Authorities are also probing Singh’s allegations, as the case raises serious questions about emotional abuse and its impact on mental health.
