  • Man went missing after storm damaged his vessel
  • Man survived on raw fish and rainwater

Timothy Lyndsay Shaddock,54, an Australian sailor was found in a dehydrated state in his yacht with his dog, by a Mexican vessel in international waters on Monday. The boat was located 1900 Kilometres away from land in the Pacific ocean.

When spotted, the man and the dog were in dire need of food provisions and shelter. Fortunately, the crew was well-equipped on not only these fronts, but also at providing them with the medical attention they needed.

The yacht, ably led by Oscar Meza Oregon, is expected to arrive on the port by Tuesday with the man and his dog, Bella. Grupomar, a marine transportation company, to which the yacht belongs, was proud of the compassion and alertness of its crew. Antonio Suarez Gutierezz, the founder and president of Grupomar, showered praise on its workers.

Shaddock recollected how they survived merely on raw fish and rainwater, after a storm had damaged the boat along with its communication apparatus while speaking to the Nine News Television Network. Presently, he is pursuing good rest and good food after an extraordinarily difficult ordeal. He aspired to travel to France from Mexico via water and was reported missing April onwards.
