As the situation remains tense along the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement. For the 11th consecutive day, Pakistani forces have launched unprovoked firing on Indian army positions. Unlike previous violations, which were limited to one or two sectors, these attacks now span the entire LoC simultaneously.
These aggressive moves are seen as Pakistan’s desperate response to India’s firm diplomatic measures, including the possible cancellation of the Indus Waters Treaty. By breaching the ceasefire agreed upon in February 2021, Pakistan is escalating tensions and challenging India’s patience along the border.
