Man pays emotional tribute to Ratan Tata, credits Tata Trusts for saving friend’s life

In a heartfelt tribute, a man has immortalized Ratan Tata by getting a tattoo of the late industrialist on his chest. The emotional moment was captured in a viral Instagram video shared by tattoo artist Mahesh Chavan, where he is seen etching the image of Tata onto the man's chest. The video was captioned, “India has lost a legend.”

In the clip, the man reveals his personal connection to Tata, recounting how the Tata Trusts helped save his friend’s life. His friend had been diagnosed with cancer, and they were overwhelmed by the high cost of treatment. It was then that they found Tata Trusts, which provided free medical care, lifting the financial burden off their shoulders.

“Ratan Tata saved my friend’s life,” the man explained, referring to the business icon as a "real-life God."

The tribute comes just days after Ratan Tata passed away at 86 in Mumbai. Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran expressed deep sorrow, calling Tata a "friend, mentor, and guide," and acknowledging his immense contributions to the Tata Group and India as a whole.

Ratan Tata’s legacy is celebrated not only for his business achievements but also for his philanthropic efforts through Tata Trusts, which have impacted millions of lives by supporting healthcare, education, and welfare initiatives across the country.
