Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, known for her deep-rooted connection to her hometown, paid a visit to the revered Sri Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple on her recent trip to Niddodi. Accompanied by her mother and sister, Samitha Shetty, the actress offered special prayers to the deity, seeking blessings.

Shilpa Shetty, originally from Mangaluru, frequently visits her ancestral home in Niddodi to reconnect with family and traditions. During her visit yesterday, she made her customary pilgrimage to the Sri Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple, a practice she follows whenever she returns to her native place.
The temple, dedicated to Goddess Durgaparameshwari, holds immense spiritual significance in the region. Known for its powerful divine presence, the temple attracts thousands of devotees throughout the year. Shilpa Shetty’s visit was marked by an elaborate prayer ceremony, where she and her family participated in special rituals.
Temple priests, including Ananthpadmanabha Asranna, Kamaladevi Prasada Asranna, Harinarayanadasa Asranna, and Sadananda Asranna, were present during the rituals and extended their blessings to the actress and her family.
Shilpa Shetty’s devotion to the temple has been well recognized over the years, as she ensures to seek the goddess’s blessings during her hometown visits. Her presence at the temple was warmly received by devotees, adding to the sanctity of the occasion.
