Most of us know that Sachin Tendulkar made his first class debut when he was almost 16 years of age. Now, a prodigy, just 12 years of age, has beaten his record.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, aged 12 years and 284 days, made his debut for Bihar. With this, he becomes the youngest Indian first-class debutant since 1986.
The youngster is also a part of the quadrangular event (U-19) set to take place later in South Africa.
He is a left handed batter who plays for Bihar.

Vaibhav started playing cricket when he was just 7. He even joined a cricket academy and under the tutelage of former Bihar player Manoj Ojha, began working hard to improve his skills.
Such was his love for the game that Vaibhav even continued to hone his skills even after the routine session.
In a Cooch Behar trophy match against Jharkhand, he scored a massive 151 runs in just 128 balls, hitting 22 boundaries and 3 sixes. Again, in Vinoo Mankhad trophy, he scored 393 runs in just 5 matches.
