Brooke asked her daughter to return to the house as it was getting dark

Michigan police assisted the family in their search operations

She was spotted by a neighbor 3 miles away

A bizarre but true incident came to light in Michigan. An infant’s mother Brooke was cleaning up the porch of her house when her 2-year-old daughter Thea kept interrupting her prompting her to get annoyed. She asked her to return back to the house as it was getting dark. She carried on with the cleaning only to realise that she was missing after a while. She immediately called up her husband who joined the search immediately. They later realised that the 2 dogs in the house were also missing. The Michigan police were also updated about the proceedings who joined the search party. 

 “I’ve raised four kids of my own, and you can be the best parent on the planet and they have their own minds. They will do things in an instant that will surprise you. Even the best of parents can blink and their child can be gone,” the anxious mother said to WJMN. 

Around 4 hours later, a neighbour spotted one of the dogs near an all terrain vehicle 3 miles away from her home. 

“She was found three miles away from home by a local citizen on an ATV around midnight. She was safe, and sleeping with her head on the family’s small dog when she was discovered. The other, larger dog was still nearby.” WJMN reported. 

 “She has no idea. The amount of stress that she put me through last night, and her father, and everybody else,” the relieved mother said after getting her daughter back to WJMN.
