Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty trailer offers an interesting take on modern relationships or lack thereof

Mahesh Babu has enthralled fans for decades as a lead actor. He is however venturing into the terrain of screenplay writing and direction with the latest flick slated for release, titled “Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty”. The role of Miss Shetty is being enacted by none other than stalwart Anushka Shetty herself. The role of Mr Polishetty has also been entrusted to upcoming star Naveen Polishetty. 

From the glimpses offered by the trailer, the film appears to be an interesting take on modern relationships or lack thereof. The character played by Naveen Polishetty is a stand up comedian who entered the field after finishing his engineering. The trope would be relatable to audiences in urban centres such as Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The character played by Anushka Shetty is a chef by passion and through profession as well. She takes an interest in him and finds him to be practical and smart. However what she is looking for is not a relationship. She merely wants him to father her child. She puts forward this offer to him and this pushes him into a crisis. How this gets resolved would form the crux of the film.

The film is set to hit the theatres on September 7th.
